I have run a number of beginners’ workshops in conjunction with both the Early Music Shop in Saltaire and the Clarsach Society.

 

Learning in a group is a really good way to begin playing an instrument, and is also extremely enjoyable. Within a couple of hours you will not only have learned a simple piece, you will have played in your first harp orchestra!

 

If you are interested in arranging a group workshop, either for beginners or more confident harp players, please contact me. I teach primarily by ear, encouraging improvisation, but also provide printed music for those who would like it.
